
The famous car manufacturer BMW, which now has its headquarters in Munich, began producing cars in the late 1920s. BMW, which now also manufacturing a motorcycle, made the change from production of aircraft engines failed due to the peace treaty at the end of World War I prohibited from doing so. Now accounting for most sales of BMW, the 3-series production began in 1975 and now contains changes, such as the coupe, touring and performance sedan model. With sales of 3 series proving fruitful, BMW is bringing to market a range of lower entry point to appeal to a broad spectrum of buyers worldwide. Mid 2004 saw the number 1, a sleek and modern look for the series shares many of the same components as the 3 series. 2004 also saw the production of the X3 SUV, with newer models of the engine now sports a 6-cylinder in-line and new looks inside and out.
